Along with Saint Demetrius, the Three Hierarchs is the second of the two major temples of Arvanitochori.
The church of the Three Hierarchs is located in Arvanitochori and is, along with the church of Agios Demetrios, one of the two most important churches in the village. It is dedicated to the Three Hierarchs — Basil the Great, Gregory the Theologian and John Chrysostom — who are honored on January 30.
In Arvanitochori
Arvanitohori is located at the foot of the mountains, three kilometers from Fry, and is famous for its "Maroukla" square and its numerous chapels. Just outside the village, next to the bed of the Skyla stream, is the cavernous chapel of Panagia Potamitissa.
