The Board of Directors of the Association of the Carpathians Abroad was informed with great sadness of the news of the death of Georgios Alexios Manolakis.
The deceased served as president of the Association of the Carpathians of the Greater Karpathia for a number of years and worked consistently for the progress of the Carpathian community of the basin. He contributed to the unity of the Carpathians with his many years of presence in collective events, but also as a municipal councilor of the Municipality of Karpathos and leader of the opposition.
The Board of Directors of SAK bids him farewell with a feeling of love, respect and recognition of his significant contribution and unanimously decides:
- To express sincere condolences to the family of the deceased.
- To honor the memory of the deceased at one of the Association's upcoming events.
- This resolution should be published in the parish newspapers.
